I'm so glad you asked.
The contents of this site - or rather the characters behind it - have had a gestatory period longer than your average elephant, albeit slightly less uncomfortable.
The original idea came from a love of puns that I have and have not so far been able to successfully treat with any medication or therapy.
Putting a visual side to the puns was the icing on the cake. Or perhaps it was the marzipan - I don't actually remember - but there was definitely (a) fruit cake involved.
In any event, it is thanks to Pam that the things took shape and were unleashed into the world.
And it is thanks to her, and the other victims of my intensive "testing program", that this thing or these things have happened.
So, to summarise: things are puns: common or garden word play.
But they say things that you might wish to say.
